Dr. Jessika Hearne - Principal

Greetings Mustang Families, Staff, and Community Members,

It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself as the New Principal of Manor Senior High School. I am a proud mother of three amazing kids and an advocate for high student achievement. I am committed to creating and ensuring the implementation of an exceptional education program for all students. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Administration of Justice from Texas Southern University, where I served as the Head Feature Twirler in the “Ocean of Soul” Marching Band, my Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Lamar University,and I am currently obtaining my Doctoral Degree in Education Administration from the University of Houston. To the Manor Independent School District, I bring a wealth of experience that includes but is not limited to me serving in both, primary and secondary education as, a Teacher, Team Lead, Department Head, and Principal.One of my most memorable moments in education was watching all of my senior students walk across the stage for graduation with confidence, after doubting themselves throughout that academic school year. The love I had for my students and their bright futures made me commit to a year-long process of motivating them, getting them to believe in themselves, making them aware of their many possibilities, and pushing them to take ownership of their own learning while serving as their 9th - 12th-grade Mathematics Teacher. As their teacher, I wore many hats,as passionate educators always do. I served as their mentor, counselor, hairstylist when in need, and on-the-spot seamstress if they came to school needing holes in their clothing items sewn back together. The day of their graduation was the day I discovered my calling in life,which is to serve and make a positive meaningful impact on as many students as possible.I am committed to education, committed to always placing service over self, and committed to ensuring that all of Manor Senior High School scholars graduate aware of their possibilities, and with the tools that they need to make their dreams a reality. I am excited and looking forward to collaborating with our staff and stakeholders to refine current systems, or create new ones, conducive to all of our Manor Senior High School scholars graduating College, Career, or Military Ready. In addition, I am excited about building positive-trusting relationships with all stakeholders and collaborating with them to ensure a shared vision of student-centered success. I look forward to ensuring a culture of high expectations with high support, love, family,and opportunity.Through consistency, effective communication, and collaboration with all stakeholders, our road to success and greatness is inevitable! Through my commitment to high student achievement and always doing what is in the best interest of our students, I am ready and willing to learn and serve.

Hi, I'm very happy to be part of the Manor ISD family as the Assistant Principal of Instruction at Manor Senior High School. I'm passionate about working in Title 1 communities. I have about 21 years of experience in Education with Administrative experience from Austin ISD and Leander ISD. I look forward to working with our students and families on the path to Graduation and Beyond!

Hola, estoy muy feliz de ser parte de la familia de Manor ISD como Subdirectora de Instrucción en Manor Senior High School. Me apasiona trabajar en comunidades de Título 1. Tengo alrededor de 21 años de experiencia en educación con experiencia administrativa de Austin ISD y Leander ISD. ¡Espero trabajar con nuestros estudiantes y sus familias en el camino hacia la graduación y más allá!

Ralph Henley - Assistant Principal - 11th grade

It is an incredible experience to be an assistant principal at Manor Senior High School. Prior to being in the educational profession, I was a software engineer at IBM. A lot of people might not know this, but I have been blessed to be an Assistant Principal at Decker Elementary, Oak Meadows Elementary and Decker Middle School. This has given me the opportunity to work with some of the same students from elementary through high school. My wife and I are long term Manor residents (since 2001) and all three of our children have attended and graduated from MISD. My hope is to continue to be a role model for current and future students and educators here in MISD for many years to come.
